W-what happened?

When the first news of the upcoming Iron Man anime hit the net, I remember diggin' the character designs -- both Tony and Pepper looked very sleek and futuristic. Today, the official website launched. And something has obviously happened in the interim:



To the left is the original promo pic, to the right is what's apparently the current look. I'm not sure what happened here, aside from the design team clearly being fans of toupées.

Oh well~ I'm good as long as nothing like this happens to Mazinkaizer SKL...! *ridiculously excited for that one*
